About Us
I had been asked by a guy friend (Richard) to go and play lazer tag with a group of kids from school. Having never played I accepted the offer. Richard and I met everyone at a mutual friends' house and as soon as I got out of the car I noticed David. I'd seen David a couple of times at school having no clue he was a student. (I always saw him coming out of the teachers lounge toting a laptop) Immediately I thought he would think that Richard was my boyfriend, so I tried to stay away from Richard the whole night. We get to lazer tag.. and of course guys being guys they didn't make reservations and the place had already reached its maximum limit. We all decided to go to the local mall for a while, but shortly after we got bored and decided to go play pool. I was the only girl out of the group to play with the guys. Me of course being on the opposite team of David (we spanked them). A day or two later I received a friend request from David online. We chatted over the internet for a month or two before David worked up the courage to ask me on a date. (Come to find out his mother was a teacher at our school) Now, several years later here we are planning our future!
It's scary looking back at our lives together and seeing how far we have come in such a short time. I have grown so much with David. He inspires me every day. David and I consistently challenge one another to reach for newer heights and follow every dream we conceive of. The beauty about what we have is not so much in where we've been together, or what we've done with one another, but more in the endless possibility that we wake up to every day simply because we believe in eachother, want the best for one another, and rejoice in a friendship that never wanes, but rather, deepens and further leads us forward to discovery of one another continuously.
