His Proposal and The Ring

David and I had been looking at rings for a couple of months, going back and forth between Jareds and other jewelry stores. While I knew he was considering it, I never knew it would be so soon! I had already made up in my mind that he would propose to me later this year during our four year anniversary.
After being out for a couple of hours David came in and asked if I'd like to go to the beach. Of course being a lover of the beach I said yes. He then asked if I'd like to go to Grandview Beach. I told him I wasn't sure it was such a good idea because it would soon be sunset and the horseflies at Grandview are terrible at night. He asked if I just wanted to try it out and I said sure. We get to the beach and notice it's high tide so there is only a couple feet of beach to walk on and immediately the horseflies began chasing us. After twenty minutes of walking hand-in-hand and complaining, David asks if I'd like to go back to the car. Frustrated I said yes and went to turn around. Feeling resistance in Davids' hand I turned again to see him down on one knee and immediately he began proposing to me. I was so surprised and while the walk there and back was miserable from the horseflies, I could not have asked for a more perfect sunset or fiance.
